A very large stunning example with Sancai Glaze (Three colors) body and Terra cotta features, extensive polychrome. An Earth Spirit is a mythical beast with the body of a lion and the legs and cloven hooves of a deer with flame-like wings and a human featured head. The Chinese actually Thought of the earth spirits as celestial guardians. Excellent condition.
