Antique English papier mache jewelry box with writing slope. Has a lift top which reveals open compartments for storage. Below that are four shelfs for paper or document storage and below that is the drawer with the removable writing slope. The box is highly decorated with various gold detail, paint and Mother Of Pearl inlay. The front doors are flowers and MOP decoration. This cabinet rests on a shaped base which also is highly decorated.
