Charles S Kahn Tubular Metallic Blue Lucite Handbag. Circa 1954. Miami based designer in the early 1950s, fashioned lucite handbags with soft metallic colors and clear lucite. This bag is a sleek and chic tubular design. The sides and top are soft powder blue with a satin metallic finish. The side end caps are clear lucite with cross hatching design. The handle which also is clear, has single beveled notches. The bottom feet are clear balls of lucite which add the perfect finishing touch. The bag measures 10 1/4 inches long and just under 3 inches wide. From handle to feet, the bag measures 6 3/4 inches tall.
