Line Vautrin Smoky Yellow Mirrored Glass Talousel Collarette Necklace. Circa 1950s. Line Vautrin was an artist and designer of jewelry and objects and named the Poetess of Metal by Vogue Magazine in 1948. The necklace consists of nickle silver wire, with fragments of violet and lavender colored mirror. Each mirror fragments held together with talousel, which is a resin used by her during the 1940s and 1950s. The piece is delicate and very light weight, measuring 16 1/2 inches long.
