Pair of commodes, in transitional Louis XVI style, each having a ovalesque top of marble, on conforming base of mahogany veneers, sides and double-stacked drawers inlaid in chevron pattern with banding, bronze doré mounts pulls and escutcheons decorate each case, raised on square section cabriole legs terminating in sabots.
