Peter Macchiarini Modernist Sterling and Glass Pendant. Italian American Modernist sculptor and jewelry designer. Based in California, his designs were considered avant garde. The pendant here in sterling, is double sided.with an irridescent ceramic piece, and on the opposite side a stone of Malachite. The pendant measures about 3 1/2 by 3 inches. The chain measures about 27 inches long. Peter Macchiarini was born in 1909 and died in 2001. The pendant dates between mid 1960s to mid 1970s.
