Description:
This set six Bacchanalian goblets in the Belle Apoque style have bronze-dore stems depicting a satyr leaning against a grape vine for stability as he holds his glass of wine in the air. The stems are marked on the underside in an oval cameo with the incised letters of "CEG". The bowls are "Porcelain Limoges" and are hand-painted with multi-colored flowers, cameos and scrolling motifs, outlined in gilt-gold.
