Description:
This set of six walnut wood, dining chairs date from the late 19th century and are definitely in the English, Edwardian taste. The chairs are a combination of the Louis XV and Louis XVI style with their fluted legs and serpentine cross stretcher bases. The soft celadon colored, striped taffeta fabric has been pieced to form a chevron pattern and used as a double welt-cord trim.
